School Consultation Services

At the Behavioral Pediatric Institute of Alabama, we have extensive experience collaborating with school systems across the state. We work closely with educators and staff to support students experiencing behavioral and/or academic challenges in the classroom.

Our school consultation services include:

• Independent psychoeducational evaluations including psychological and multidisciplinary assessments

• Functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)

• Development and monitoring of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

• Ongoing behavior consultation services

• Assistance with inclusion and placement recommendations

• Collaboration with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams

• Development of IEPs tailored to each student’s needs

These comprehensive services can be requested by parents or schools and involve active participation from the child, family, and school staff.

Professional Development & Training
We also provide professional development and group training sessions, which can be customized to meet the specific needs of your school or district.
