Our office address is 3257 Cahaba Heights Road, Vestavia, Alabama 35243. We are located directly behind the Summit and 459, and are across the street from the Olive Branch restaurant. When you arrive to our location, please pull to the back of the parking lot to access our handicap accessible entrance.
Please note that our current wait for evaluations is typically 6 to 9 months. We encourage families to reach out as soon as possible if they are interested in scheduling an evaluation for their child.
If you are interested in a comprehensive evaluation, please contact us to receive the initial paperwork. We can send the forms via mail, email, or fax.
Once we receive your completed paperwork, we will provide a detailed quote for the evaluation, including your insurance benefits or out-of-pocket expense. After we receive your confirmation, we will schedule your child for the evaluation at the next available opening.

Our comprehensive evaluation process is conducted over a series of three appointments, typically scheduled within a three-week period.

Parent Interview

Duration: 75–90 minutes

Participants: Parents only

Purpose: To gather detailed information about your child’s developmental history, behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns, and treatment goals

Diagnostic In-Person Testing

Duration: 1–5 hours (individualized based on your child’s age, developmental level, and presenting concerns)

Participants: Your child

Purpose: To assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning through structured, one-on-one testing

Interactive Feedback Session

Duration: 75–90 minutes

Purpose: To review your child’s written report and evaluation results, answer questions, and ensure a clear understanding of the findings and recommendations

The feedback session is interactive to help you fully understand the evaluation results and ensure that the child we evaluated aligns with the child you observe at home. You, as the parent, are your child’s number one advocate, and this session provides guidance to support your child’s growth and success.

Dr. Ladden and Dr. Stoll: Out-of-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield effective January 2026; In-network with Viva/American Behavioral.

Dr. Patton and Dr. Lebensburger: In-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, VIVA/American Behavioral.
Please note that we do not file claims for out-of-network insurance policies. However, we are happy to provide superbills so that families can submit claims for reimbursement directly to their insurance providers.
